Amanda Rome, LBSW, works as the Pregnancy Maintenance and Adoption Case Manager in the Hays office of Catholic Charities Northern Kansas. She provides support and case management to pregnant women in several counties across Northwest Kansas. She offers support to expecting mothers with the goal of carrying the pregnancy to full-term by offering case management, parenting and/or adoption plan guidance, locating available resources and pregnancy and infant item assistance.
She graduated from Fort Hays State University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Sociology. In 2014, she returned to school at Fort Hays State University to obtain a Bachelor’s of Arts in Social Work and became licensed in the State of Kansas.
Her previous experience includes working with the state and courts to place abused, neglected or abandoned children into temporary foster homes and prepare them to return home or into adoptive homes.
