Hello!
As I'm gearing up for the next chapter of my life, I can't help but look back on the incredible 13-year journey I've had as the Development Director at Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas. It's been an amazing ride, filled with friendships, challenges, and, most importantly, the lives we've touched together. Yep, it's been quite a ride, and I wanted to send you a note about something meaningful.
During my time here, with the amazing support from folks like you, we've hit some fantastic milestones. We played a part in getting the Salina building up and running in 2017, making it easier for us to help folks in need. We also joined hands with Long McArthur and 24/7 Travel Stores, expanding our outreach program and truly making a difference in our community. And there's more.
Your generosity has been a game-changer, and I believe it's a true testament to God's blessings on our organization. Together, we've brought hope and assistance to families in poverty, pregnant mothers, and people grappling with mental health challenges across 31 counties in Northern Kansas. We've even done our part to make sure nobody goes to bed hungry and prevent folks from losing their homes. Remember when we stepped up big time during the pandemic? You made that happen.
But, here's the thing: our mission isn't stopping here. My last day, October 31, marks the end of one chapter but the beginning of something new. So, here's my ask - I'd love for you to help me make an impact that will last a lifetime. Instead of traditional retirement gifts, I'm requesting your support for a cause that's super close to my heart, something we've been passionate about together.
We've got this fantastic project in the works - renovating the Hays Building. It's not just any renovation; it's a promise. A promise to make services more accessible across our 31 counties, reaching the families who need it most. It's a legacy in the making, and I couldn't be more excited.
So, here's the deal. I'm asking you to contribute to this campaign in place of traditional retirement gifts. We're talking about making a difference that's going to last long after my farewell party. And here's the exciting news: a generous donor has pledged a $5,000 matching gift opportunity, which means your contribution will have double the impact!
Ready to make it happen? You can chip in right here.
Or you can mail your donation to Eric's Retirement Campaign, c/o Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas, PO Box 1366, Salina, KS 67402-1366.
I can't thank you enough for the friendships, the support, and the shared commitment to our mission. Your generosity, compassion, and spirit have made a world of difference, and I believe it's a testament to God's blessings. Let's celebrate our journey together and create a brighter future for those we serve.
With heartfelt thanks to God and to you,
Eric Frank
P.S. I hope you will take advantage of this matching opportunity and I can't wait to see you on October 31 at my retirement luau!
