To receive help in paying your heating bills through the Share The Warmth program, you will need to apply at your nearest Salvation Army location, where you'll be asked to meet the following requirements:

To be eligible for this program, a member of your household must be at least 65 years old or disabled or your total household income must meet the requirements outlined on the application.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist families with energy costs through the winter months. LIHEAP provides federally funded assistance to reduce the costs associated with home energy bills, energy crises, weatherization, and minor energy-related home repairs.
The new user-friendly LIHEAP eligibility tool allows households across the country to quickly identify if they might be eligible for LIHEAP assistance by inputting basic information like income and household size.
