Are you experiencing turmoil in your life? In today's fast and changing society, many problems arise causing stress and discomfort. Catholic Charities is a social service agency that provides mental health counseling services regardless of religion, race, nationality, age, or financial status. A sliding fee scale is available as it is our philosophy that inability to pay should not be a barrier to treatment. Services are avaialbe in-person at one of our three office locations or via teletherapy (online video platform) for your convenience.
Types of Counseling Include:
Children & Adolescents: We serve children eight years of age and older. Addressing difficulties early in life may minimize the impact at a later time. New feelings and emotions can create problems for children and adolescents and their families when left untreated. We provide individual and family therapy to assist children and adolescents who are experiencing difficulty with sadness, loss, peers, school, self-esteem, and identity issues.
Adults: A stressful lifestyle, career problems, loss of a relationship, depression, and self-esteem issues are just a few of the situations causing stress to adults. We provide individual and group therapy, mental status evaluations, stress management, and treatment plans for most mental health issues.
Family: Our treatment is based on caring for the family as a system and for the individuals within the system. The goal is to help the family move toward more balanced and functional interaction.
Marriage & Couples: Partners struggle with new roles and responsibilities, new definitions of intimacy, communication, and commitment. Our staff can help you and your partner adjust to these changes.
Our counselors understand. Catholic Charities counselors are compassionate, trained professionals whose education and experience help them to understand your concerns. All services are confidential.
Fees & Sliding Scale:
Your office visit fee will be evaluated based on your annual household income and number of people in your household. Depending on your household income you will be matched with one of three income categories. Our three income categories are either $10 or $25 or $50. Please contact your local office for evaluation of your income category and office visit fee. We strive never to turn away clients simply for an inability to pay. We no longer accept any insurance.
