Emergency Financial Assistance: Rent, Utilities and Prescriptions

At Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas, we understand that life's challenges can sometimes lead to financial difficulties. Our Emergency Financial Assistance Program aims to provide support to individuals and families facing crises in the Northern Kansas community.

Program Highlights:

• Financial Assistance: We may be able to offer up to $150 in a one-year period for rent, utilities, and/or prescriptions, depending on the availability of funds and your qualifying status.

• Application Process: To access our Emergency Financial Assistance, download and complete the application provided below. Applications are also available at any of our three office locations.

• Required Documentation: When submitting your application, please bring the following documents to any of our offices:

  • Proof of Income
  • Photo ID/Driver's License
  • Lease/Eviction Notice
  • Utility Bill/Shut-Off Notice
  • Prescription or Prescription Information from Pharmacy
