What is an endowment fund?Think of an endowment fund as a plant and your donation as a seed. In this case, your donation or seed is not used right away, but is put into a reserve fund where it grows over time, much like a plant. This creates a financial bedrock for that organization, ensuring they have the resources to continue their mission for many years to come.
