Hello! My name is Berta Jaquez, and I've been part of the Catholic Charities team since November 2017. Over the years, I've held various roles within the organization, but currently, I proudly serve as the Director of Stabilization and Outreach Services. In this role, I oversee operations at both the Hays and Manhattan locations, as well as manage the Emergency Assistance, Outreach, and Special Funds programs.

I am deeply passionate about my role as it allows me to work directly with individuals in need and extend our services to communities beyond our immediate vicinity. Whether it's providing essential items like food and hygiene products or offering words of encouragement, I find immense joy in brightening someone's day and witnessing their journey towards growth and success. I am thrilled to be a part of the mission to help those in need and watch them grow and succeed. What truly inspires me is the collaborative spirit among our team and other helping agencies in our service area. This synergy fosters a supportive community that enables us to reach more people and make a meaningful impact.

On a personal note, I've worked in the nonprofit field since 2004, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue serving with Catholic Charities.
