Megan Augustine

Hello, I’m Megan Augustine and I serve as the Development and Parish Relations Manager at Catholic Charities since May 2024. In this role, I manage the donor database, support the director of development in all areas of fundraising, and educate the parishes and communities within the Salina Diocese about the mission of Catholic Charities.
 
What I love most about Catholic Charities is the great opportunities to spread the word about the impactful work Catholic Charities does around the diocese. I also have an amazing group of co-workers that I enjoy working with daily in this mission.
 
I grew up in Colby, KS, received my Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University in 2007. I worked in youth ministry for several years in my hometown parish before I moved to Wichita for six years and was the Events Coordinator for the Spiritual Life Center until 2020. I moved back to Colby and worked for Colby Community College as an Academic Advisor and eventually the Director of Advising for a few years and then once again for my home parish in Colby. I grew up with my two amazing parents who still reside in Colby and my twin sister, Sr. Mary Monica, who is a religious sister with the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary of Wichita. In May of 2024, I moved to Salina with my corgi dog, Dottie, and am very excited to be a part of the amazing Catholic Charities of Northern Kansas team!
